And today I'm going to talk in name of you. But unfortunately not only in the name of you In the name of all women who were assassinated in Brazil, and that are not few. There are many. I want to say And I will start saying that these numbers are screaming. But unfortunately they don't abra the families that they keep Because women who live in our country, They have names. they have dreams, they have a life, yesterday they were alive And now they're not here anymore. They have history. And more, this story is interrupted, these dreams are interrupted. They are children, they are mothers who are... the orphans are people who suffer our absence. We need to say, and say firmly, that the feminicide in Brazil does not happen by a case. He is a source of a structure, a structure marked by misogynia, a structure marked by racism, a structure that makes it dangerous to women live in our country, but that is much more dangerous to women preta, women from the periphery, women trans, women lesbian, this woman is much more victim of this structural violence that we all are victims. This place here is a place important to us. We, women, who we are to We have to be ourselves, because we know our pain. I always say this: we know our pain, our needs, our needs, our love, our needs, our love. We need to talk about ourselves. I am part of the community "Levante Nacional contra o Feminicídio, o Lesbocídio e o Transfeminicídio". And we are in a fundamental year, it's a year of choice, it's a year where we will choose life or death, we will choose to be silenced or have voice, it's a year where we all need to reflect a lot. We need protection, we need visibility. Brazil has been advanced and I'm proud of the progress that happened in the last few years, because, as was said here, it was taken from the power of those who don't like women, who humiliated women and who didn't take into consideration our pain.
